"Moxie"
"Moxie" is our current star here at Pandel. She started
off her show career by winning her futurity class at the 2008 American Pointer Club National Specialty. She then went
on to win her Bred-By-Exhibtor class and go Best Bred By that year, earning her the chance to go to Crufts. ( a trip to England
for a show was a little beyond our budget, but we were still thrilled that she qualified)
Moxie went on to finish her championship (CH) with three majors, twice Best of Breed over specials,
and all points from the bred-by class.
Line
bred to her half brother, Moxie produced a lovely litter of seven pups in November of 2011. Then the following April,
went into the field to earn her Junior Hunter (JH) title. That summer she earned a group 2 under breeder judge Karin
Ashe and a smattering of breed wins in limited showing. Moxie completed her Grand Championship in February of 2013.
Moxie is CHIC registered, with excellent hips, normal eyes, and normal
thyroid.
When she is not in
the show ring, she is learning her field commands to work towards trying for her Senior Hunter title. A fall breeding
has been planned, her 2nd and final litter.
